Whether you are planning a naming ceremony, a wedding ceremony or a vow renewal ceremony I am here to help.
Celebrating key life events is a wonderful and joyful experience and we are often drawn to mark these occasions with a special celebration.
My approach is to make this process fun and inspire you to think creatively about how we can make your ceremony truly reflect the uniqueness that is you. Whilst also being a calm and reassuring presence you can rely on. I want the whole process of creating your ceremony as well as the ceremony itself to be a joyful experience.
I absolutely love working with all the generations of a family and having started my career as a teacher, for me working with children is a pure joy. I am also incredibly creative and love to develop personalised mini unity ceremonies that can be incorporated into the main ceremony that truly reflect your beliefs and values.
What is an independent celebrant?
An independent celebrant is a professionally trained individual who performs and officiates at ceremonies, such as wedding and naming celebrations. As they are independent this means that they have the complete freedom to work with you to create the ceremony that you want. They are not bound by the constrains of a LA registrar nor the belief systems of humanist or religious ceremonies.
Take a moment to imagine what you would like your ceremony to be if you had complete freedom. Working with an independent celebrant you can make that happen.

Welcoming a child into your life is one of the most joyful and life changing experiences you can have.
With a naming ceremony, you can formally introduce and celebrate your new child with those closest to you. Taking time to recognise and celebrate this new addition and all that is amazing about them and your family.
Naming ceremonies are typically a non-religious alternative to a Christening, and can take many forms. They give you the opportunity to welcome your child into the family in the way you want to.

Finding the person you want to spend the rest of your life with is truly one of life's gifts. Your individual personalities come together to form a third personality that of you as a couple.
Independent celebrant led wedding ceremonies allow these personalities to shine through. They are an alternative wedding ceremony to one that is governed by the constraints of a religious ceremony or a registrar led ceremony. They are individual, personal and quite frankly amazing!
They give you the opportunity to celebrate your wedding in the way that you want to.

Vow renewal ceremonies are a celebration of your commitment to each other, your marriage and your life lived together. They are a wonderful way to celebrate the big milestone moments in your life and relationship, such as a significant wedding anniversary.
Your Vow renewal can be as intimate or as large as you want it to be, as with all independent led ceremonies there is freedom and flexibility to create a ceremony that truly reflects you and your love story.
